Boo!

I finished my "tablemat" (a.k.a placemat) last night and I really like it.  I decided to use one of my favorite fabrics for the binding, full moon polka dot in lime by Amy Butler.  If I was making this again, I would change the purple to a natural linen or Kona Ash.  It just seems like a lot of purple.  I still like it a lot though.

Here is a close up of the quilting.  I did meandering loops.  Not sure if that's the "technical" name but that's what I'm calling it.  I'm not a free motion quilting expert, but I think it turned out pretty well.
